Metaphor


Because most developers won't know all the medical expressions
from the domain, here's a list with explanations. If you want
additional information on a subject just hit the plus sign at its
right side.

  • Body Mass Index
    		•  Measure of body fat based on height, weight and gender.  +
  • Breathing Rate
    		•  Frequency of how often the patient draws breath.  +
  • Diastolic Blood Pressure
    		•  Tells how high the pressure in the blood-vessels is while the heart is not in action.  +
  • Heart Rate
    		•  Frequency of how often the patient's heart beats.   +
  • Level of Consciousness
    		•  Information about a patients state of consciousness.   +
  • Shock
    		•  A state of circulatory trouble which is perilous.    
  • Systolic Blood Pressure
    		•  Tells how high the pressure in the blood-vessels is while the heart is in action.  +
